What is a migraine with aura, otherwise known as classic migraine? A migraine with aura or classic migraine, often appears as visual disturbances preceding the actual headache and affects 20-30% of migraineurs. As it progresses it may include jagged lines that move across the visual field and finally, an indistinct array of colors. The aura usually precedes the headache phase by about 20-30 minutes. Only half of all migraine sufferers are actually diagnosed. So, if you or a loved one suffers from debilitating headaches, see your physician or primary provider as soon as possible. A diagnosis means an appropriate treatment that you have control over. Whether conventional or not, please find the treatment that's right for you.
